Our Mission
Our mission is Living and Teaching Transformational Faith in Christ.
Our Vision
We desire to be attentive to the Holy Spirit's leading, to be a refuge in our community and to be intergenerational in the way we live and teach our faith. With these desires in mind, we anticipate:

-
In the next three years, developing 100 new relationships with a focus on mentoring and discipleship.
-
During the next three years, developing 10 new touch points within the community that draw us into new relationships.
-
That each TCC congregant will be able to describe three experiences of personal transformation in the next 18 months.
* Mission is “our why,” the reason for existence, a testament written in language unique to our church though readily available to be embraced by all churches.

Outreach
Calling All Volunteers!
Dégagé Ministries is committed to providing a safe place for people of the Heartside community to gather where they can purchase food inexpensively. Volunteers run the kitchen and visit with patrons during these drop-in hours. We will continue this every 3rd Tuesday of the month. The hours are 5:45 - 8:30 PM. We need 6-10 persons each month.
Ongoing Opportunities:
-
Meal Providers are needed for those who are recuperating at home following hospitalizations. Check with Pastor Tim or see the sign up sheets in the narthex.
-
Nursery Volunteers are needed for Sunday and Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM. Please see the sign-up sheet in the narthex or contact the office.
-
Whitney Team Mentors - We need 2-3 adults willing to provide supervision for a small group of men who come to us through our partnership with Hope Network. The men come every other Thursday to work at TCC from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. It provides a meaningful outlet and community connection for these men. Contact Pastor Tim or the church office.
If you need more information about these volunteer options or are looking for other opportunities to serve in the community, please contact Pastor Tim.
