MOKA Volunteers

MOKA Community Supports is an organization that provides day programming for individuals with disabilities. Members come from private homes and group homes, and are picked up, brought around to a variety of locations during the day, then returned home at the end of the day. The aim is to provide a variety into their days, including healthy living, community engagement, field trips and volunteer opportunities.

A group of 7 individuals comes to Thornapple on the second Thursday of every month to volunteer around our building. They help with washing coffee mugs, setting up for events, polishing furniture, filling Easter eggs and so much more. We wrap up our time together with a snack and fellowship.

We need 1-2 volunteers to come alongside staff to make these days happen. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch with Rachel Exoo.
