Community Indoor Trick-or-Treating

Let's be real: Michigan Halloween's are usually gross. You spend hours creating the perfect costume, or spend all that money so your kid is a full-geared Darth Vader or a replica of Elsa. And then, Michigan hits you with the triple-wammy of precipitation, cold and darkness. You bundle your kids up in winter hats and gloves, some rainboots and a rainjacket, and suddenly, those costumes aren't so visible. Maybe you stick a reflector on your kid so you can find them in the dark. And then, there's you! You have to bundle yourself up to pull around a little red wagon that inevitably gets heavier as the evening goes, and the hot drink in your hand cools off far too quick.

Skip the worry. Come trick-or-treat inside where it's warm, dry and safe! TCC is happy to welcome you in to knock on our office and classroom doors. We'll have treats waiting behind those doors for your kids. Show off those beautiful costumes and take off the winter gear. 

We estimate that little legs can do the whole church in 30 minutes. You can come and go as you please, anytime between 6:30-8:00 PM. You'll even have time left in the evening to do some trick-or-treating around your own neighborhood if you so please. This is a free, community event, so invite your neighbors to come with you! Sign-up is not required. Just come!

BONUS!

-Our local fire department will be having "block parties" throughout the evening. There will be a block party at TCC from 6:30-6:55 PM. Come by and explore a firetruck, receive some goodies, and say hi to our local heroes!

-We will have donuts and cider for the first 120 people.
