Camp Thornapple: Parade Float Design

Dates: June 26 & 27

Time: 1:30-3:30 PM

Optional additional day of July 4 to participate in the parade; roughly 9-11 AM.

Design and prepare a float for the 4th of July Cascade Parade! We'll have a large trailer that will need plenty of decorating. We'll come up with a vision, and students will help prepare the float for usage. Power tools and paint will be used, so wear clothes that can get messy! Participants of the class are also invited to be in the parade on the 4th of July. This class will be meeting offsite at the home of one of our pastors where we'll have access to a pole barn and tools. You can participate in the class even if you can't be present for the parade.

Registration opens for this class on May 1st and will close one week before the start date of the class. 

Payment for the class needs to be submitted minimum one week prior to the class unless something special is worked out with the Director of Children's Ministry. If you have not paid, we have the right to give up your child's spot to someone on the waitlist. We accept cash or check (made out to Thornapple Community Church). If your child can no longer attend, we ask for as much notice as possible. Money will be returned if it has not already been used to purchase your child's supplies for the class. Students who sign up for any one class before June 1st will receive a free Camp Thornapple t-shirt.
