Camp Thornapple: Letterboxing II

If you enjoyed letterboxing in 2022, then you’ll love Letterboxing II! Kids will first make their own unique and personalized stamp, carved from wood and foam. Once their supplies are ready, we’ll start searching for clues! Letterboxing combines art with the fun of scavenger hunting, and can be found all over the US in outdoor places. We’ll have all new clues, so even if you participated last year, there will be new things to do this year!

If you participated last year, you are welcome to bring your logbook to add to it, as well as last year's stamp if you’d like to keep using it. However, we will have extra logbooks and stamps if you’d like to start fresh.

What You Get with Your Check:

• 3 hours of instruction
• Materials to create a personalized stamp
• A logbook

The class payment must be submitted no later than a week before the scheduled class. If not submitted, we have the right to contact the next participant on the waitlist, when applicable. Cash or checks can be mailed or brought in to Thornapple Community Church. Checks can be made out to Thornapple Community Church; memo line “Camp Thornapple.” We do not have online payments set up at this time. If a class is canceled, or a student can no longer attend for any reason, money will be returned in full.

Participants who sign up for any one class before June 1st will receive a free Camp Thornapple t-shirt with registration. A small handful of extra shirts will be ordered for those who sign up on or after June 1st to purchase for $5. Shirts can be picked up at their first class. Extra shirts will remain available until all are purchased.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please contact Director of Children’s Ministry, Rachel Exoo, as soon as possible. We will gladly contact someone on our waitlist in your absense!

Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email as well as reminder emails leading up to the event. If you do not receive a confirmation, please double check if you submitted your form properly.
