Camp Thornapple: Card-Making

Cards are a staple gift for birthdays, holidays, thank-you’s, and grievances. Why buy a store-bought card when you could make one? In this class, kids will learn how to make handmade cards for any occasion! These won't be your average-ordinary greeting cards; we've got fun tools! Participants will use an embossing machine to create texture on paper, and will use other creative paper crafting tools to bring the cards to life. If you attended our Valentine’s Craft Class, you’ll have gotten a small taste of the fun and joy making someone a card can be!

What You Get with Your Check:

• 2 hours of instruction
• All craft materials for creating the cards
• Use of embossing machines and other crafting tools
• Take home your finished projects

The class payment must be submitted no later than a week before the scheduled class. If not submitted, we have the right to contact the next participant on the waitlist, when applicable. Cash or checks can be mailed or brought in to Thornapple Community Church. Checks can be made out to Thornapple Community Church; memo line “Camp Thornapple.” We do not have online payments set up at this time. If a class is canceled, or a student can no longer attend for any reason, money will be returned in full.

Participants who sign up for any one class before June 1st will receive a free Camp Thornapple t-shirt with registration. A small handful of extra shirts will be ordered for those who sign up on or after June 1st to purchase for $5. Shirts can be picked up at their first class. Extra shirts will remain available until all are purchased.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please contact Director of Children’s Ministry, Rachel Exoo, as soon as possible. We will gladly contact someone on our waitlist in your absense!

Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email as well as reminder emails leading up to the event. If you do not receive a confirmation, please double check if you submitted your form properly.
