Camp Thornapple: Birdhouse Construction

Last year at Camp Thornapple, we built bird feeders. This year, we’re building the birds a home! Kids will use tools to build a birdhouse for their feathery friends. Then, whip out your art skills as you paint and decorate your birdhouse. All supplies and tools are provided for you! At the end of the day, you’ll get to take home your birdhouse to hang up at home. Due to the use of power tools and increased need for supervision, this class is limited to ages 10-12.

What You Get with Your Check:

• 3 hours of instruction
• All materials to construct & decorate the birdhouse
• Take home your completed birdhouse

The class payment must be submitted no later than a week before the scheduled class. If not submitted, we have the right to contact the next participant on the waitlist, when applicable. Cash or checks can be mailed or brought in to Thornapple Community Church. Checks can be made out to Thornapple Community Church; memo line “Camp Thornapple.” We do not have online payments set up at this time. If a class is canceled, or a student can no longer attend for any reason, money will be returned in full.

Participants who sign up for any one class before June 1st will receive a free Camp Thornapple t-shirt with registration. A small handful of extra shirts will be ordered for those who sign up on or after June 1st to purchase for $5. Shirts can be picked up at their first class. Extra shirts will remain available until all are purchased.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please contact Director of Children’s Ministry, Rachel Exoo, as soon as possible. We will gladly contact someone on our waitlist in your absense!

Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email as well as reminder emails leading up to the event. If you do not receive a confirmation, please double check if you submitted your form properly.
