Camp Thornapple: Art Journaling

"Art journaling is a visual diary where you can creatively express your ideas, thoughts, feelings, memories and emotions through any type of art form you enjoy." Kids will spend the morning learning about art journaling and creating their journal. In the afternoon, participants will create one or two entries. At the end of the day, kids will take home their art journal to continue using throughout the summer and beyond! We will be taking a break for lunch, so please send your child(ren) with a sack lunch for the day.

What You Get with Your Check:

• 4.5 hours of instruction (1/2 hour lunch break)
• An art journal
• Materials to create entries in the journal
• Extra take-home materials (as permitted)

The class payment must be submitted no later than a week before the scheduled class. If not submitted, we have the right to contact the next participant on the waitlist, when applicable. Cash or checks can be mailed or brought in to Thornapple Community Church. Checks can be made out to Thornapple Community Church; memo line “Camp Thornapple.” We do not have online payments set up at this time. If a class is canceled, or a student can no longer attend for any reason, money will be returned in full.

Participants who sign up for any one class before June 1st will receive a free Camp Thornapple t-shirt with registration. A small handful of extra shirts will be ordered for those who sign up on or after June 1st to purchase for $5. Shirts can be picked up at their first class. Extra shirts will remain available until all are purchased.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please contact Director of Children’s Ministry, Rachel Exoo, as soon as possible. We will gladly contact someone on our waitlist in your absense!

Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email as well as reminder emails leading up to the event. If you do not receive a confirmation, please double check if you submitted your form properly.
