Adult Sunday School

Adult Education Opportunities for Fall 2019

A Walk Through The Bible

Starting on Sunday, October 6, Dr. Dan Kroeze from Kuyper College will be teaching a course for those who want to go a step deeper in their learning. Participants should expect reading outside of the sessions and make a commitment to making most of the sessions. The cost for the 8-week sessions in the fall will be $25 per person. The evening begins with a light meal and then 1-1 ½ hours of teaching and discussion (starting time to be determined). Please sign up in the narthex or call the church office (942-0821) if you would like to be included in future communications regarding this adult education learning opportunity.

September Electives beginning Sept. 15:

1. “Eat This Book.” This class will expand on the lesson preached in worship, and is led by Pastor Kent at 10:50 AM in the fellowship hall.

2. The RCA in Transition: What does it mean for a denomination to be faced with options about how we will move forward in the midst of conflict and change? We will spend 3 weeks looking at some of the major questions we face as we prepare for General Synod 2020. Pastor Tim will lead this class.

October Elective: Shaping the Future of TCC

The Long-Range Planning Team will be leading us through a series of discussions on the future ministry focus of TCC. The preaching focus for October will parallel these discussions. The class will be led by members of the Long-Range Planning Team who will deliver their report by February 2020.
